Harry Barnes
Landscape Gardener/Owner
Harry started his career in horticulture while studying at The University of Bath where he worked at a local garden centre alongside studying. He started in a weekend position and progressed to full time after he finished education. While working at the garden centre he had many roles whether it was looking after plants alongside the plant team, general customer assistance or out on the road doing garden installations of both hard and soft landscaping at clients homes.
It was during his employment that Harry truly found his passion for horticulture and landscaping and after being employed at the garden centre for over 7 years he decided it was time to move on and challenge himself in other ways. He joined forces with Jamie and Cotswold Garden Renovation Services LTD. was established.
Jamie Johnstone
Landscape Gardener/Owner
Jamie’s journey in horticulture started from a young age when he would spend large amounts of time with his grandmother growing plants together. Once he was able to start work, he started an apprenticeship at Lackham college studying ‘Plant Propagation & Identification’ while working at his local garden centre.
Jamie’s love of hard landscaping came later after countless visits to Chelsea flower show and seeing professional landscapers work and designs. Jamie progressed from an apprentice to assistant manager where he would do day to day running of the garden centre as well as managing client garden installations. After 18 years with his local garden centre Jamie joined Harry in establishing Cotswold Garden Renovation Services LTD.
About Us
Cotswold Garden Renovation Services LTD. was founded in late 2015 when Harry & Jamie who at the time worked at a local garden centre decided to take the leap and start their own landscaping company. Harry & Jamie both have a massive passion for landscaping and horticulture and despite their different backgrounds and paths to where they got to today work seamlessly together to create beautiful gardens and clients dreams come true.
With the passion and skill Harry & Jamie have it has led them into TV gardening, as landscape gardeners for ITV’s Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh. Working alongside Alan, Katie, Frances, David & Danny has been an unbelievable experience for them increasing their knowledge and skills from professionals they never thought they would work along side let alone become friends with.

Harry & Jamie are both keen supporters of their local area and provide their local Fire & Rescue station with an annual Christmas tree as a thank you for all that they do throughout the year. Harry & Jamie also sponsor local schools, colleges and universities where they can both with materials for their horticulture departments or the donation of materials when they have building work done.

Cotswold Garden Renovation Services LTD. have been fortunate enough to be approached by C-TEC for a sponsorship deal back in mid-2022. Cotswold Garden Renovation Services LTD. were widely using C-TEC products before they were approached for a wide verity of tasks on projects so it was only at matter of time before the two companies joined force. With some exciting and big projects in discussion between the two companies to be unveiled in 2023 there will be some big and exciting things coming to our website and social media accounts very shortly.

Following the launch of CT1, all subsequent products have been, and will be based on the same ethos. They have to be unique in their quality and must fill “The Snag List Eliminator” criteria.
CT1 is a unique sealant and construction adhesive which replaces numerous products from just one tube. It is widely recognised as the ultimate development in bonding and sealing, and offers a unique adhesion on virtually any material, without the need for additional fixings.
